Starting Wednesday April 6th and running weekly until Wednesday April 27th 2016

The goal of this carefully developed 4 session series is:

– To understand how to create an environment of hope and healing for families and individuals struggling with drugs and alcohol.
– To provide participants with the ability to understand how the recovery process and how effects current and future friends, family and coworkers relationships.
– To provide accurate information about addiction, treatment, and recovery from drugs and alcohol.
– Present accurate information about the effects of drugs and alcohol.

SESSION 1: Addiction and the Brain  April 6th, 2016

Learn about the ABC’S of drug and alcohol use and how brain and thinking are affected. Wednesday, 6-7 p.m. EST

SESSION 2: Alcohol and Marijuana April 13th, 2016

Learn about the effects of Alcohol and Marijuana on the individual and the family. Wednesday, 6-7 p.m. EST

SESSION 3: Opioids, Cocaine and Other Drugs  April 20th, 2016

Learn about the effects of Opioids, Cocaine and other drugs on the individual and the family. Wednesday, 6-7 p.m. EST

SESSION 4: Road to Recovery April 27th, 2016

Learn about the recovery process, treatment options, and resources available. Wednesday, 6-7 p.m. EST

 This FREE series is for the important people in the life of someone struggling with addiction or in recovery and is not limited to immediate family. In the recovery process family is defined by members of your immediately family (parents, siblings, partner, children), extended family, friends, colleagues from work, mentors and anyone who will support recovery.
